Merchant Aircraft Carrier EMPIRE MACANDREW launched from Denny's at Dumbarton on 3rd May 1943 and completed in July.

In 1946 she was converted to a general cargo ship and became McCowen and Gross' DERRYHEEN.

She then went to the Lyle Shipping Company as CAPE GRAFTON and as PATRICIA was broken up in China in 1970.
